The growing drive-thru coffee chain, Dutch Bros, will soon be adding a new San Marcos location, according to recent public records. The upcoming restaurant will be located at 296 Wonder World, near Garcia’s, just west of I-35. The records in question state the new construction will be a facility of around 950 square feet “on greenfield site with parking and drive-thru.”
Specializing in caffeinated beverages, Dutch Bros offers a wide variety of coffee options such as cold brew, chai, hot coffees, and energy drinks. Dutch Bros also offers teas, lemonades, smoothies, and the brand’s signature dutch sodas, along with muffin tops and granola bars as snacks.
What Now Austin briefly reached out to Development Specialist Elias Minaise to inquire about the upcoming location’s potential opening dates, but he was not immediately available for comment.
In the absence of an official statement, readers should note that the public records estimate construction to wrap up by August 2023, signaling an opening in either late summer or early fall 2023.
Until the San Marcos location opens its doors, curious readers can visit several locations up and down the I-35 corridor and within Austin for a taste of the ever-more popular coffee.
