“The community has been so kind and welcoming,” Young said. “They are so excited.”

“We really wanted to come back to the smaller town feel of a restaurant and focus on Texas-sourced items,” Young said.

“It’s totally different. It will have a very unique and Texas-forward menu,” Young noted.

Reportedly, guests will be able to eat chicken fried steaks that are made with hand-cut ribeye and smothered in gravy, deviled eggs, a “Double Trouble Wagyu Burger” and fried oysters with a semi-fancy vibe. Fresh meats from R-C Ranch, fresh Gulf-found seafood, chili and pecans from Texas.
“It’s a lot of Texas ingredients and we are taking those staples and putting our little spin on them,” Doug Young said.

ABJ reports that he restaurant will have “an indoor and outdoor area, Texas-centric art, hand-painted murals and whiskey barrels from local distilleries, the release said. Folks can also hold events private events in The Ranger Room, which hand-hold roughly 40 people for dinner. There is a vast covered porch where over 70 people can enjoy a cocktail and fresh local eats.”
