To be built up at 203 East San Antonio Street, Los Tios will soon debut in the Texas Hill Country. Costing $375,000, the “Interior remodel of dining room area of a previously existing restaurant” spanning 5000 SF will reach completion by March 2025.

“Started by the Garbett family in 1970 and purchased by the Adair family in 2000, Los Tios has been a Houston Tex Mex staple for almost 50 years. Favorite tables, favorite waiters and most importantly, favorite margaritas, have become rituals for so many Houston families over the years. In fact, many Houstonians had their first sip of a frozen margarita at Los Tios in 1975 when it introduced the city’s first,” the official website states.

“Los Tios currently operates six Houston area locations with the San Felipe location serving as it’s flagship restaurant. Tex Mex favorites including famous fajitas, enchiladas, puffy quesos and our famous combination plates have made Los Tios a household name. Thank you to our customers for five wonderful decades as a part of your family. We look forward to serving you for many more years to come.”

No opening date has been announced.
