According to recent reporting in ABJ, local restaurateur Sam Hellman-Mass will be moving into the former Ace Motel at 2627 Manor Road for his next venture.
Apart from Mr. Hellman-Mass’s well-known success in the Austin restaurant scene, the development is especially significant given the purchase of the 24,000-square-foot property. Interestingly, per the ABJ, the restaurateur is “still toying around with what cuisine to serve” and is “open to suggestions.”
What Now Austin briefly reached Mr. Hellman-Mass to ask if any updates were available regarding the menu or concept. In response, he plainly stated that he had “nothing to provide that wasn’t printed already.”
Until this exciting new concept begins its long journey towards opening, eager readers can hang on to Mr. Hellman Mass’s promise that “it won’t be a repeat of something he has already done,” as reported by ABJ.
