Readers should note that Dhanani Group is one of the largest franchising groups in the US. Narrating their origins on the company website, Dhanani Group states the following:

“Starting in the gas and convenience store business in 1976, the Dhanani Group became a franchisee for Burger King in 1994 with their first co-branded restaurant in Houston, Texas. The Sugar Land, Texas-based company is now one of the nation’s top QSR franchisees for Burger King Corporation and Popeyes with a growing presence in casual and fine dining starting with La Madeleine restaurants.”

What Now Austin reached out to CEO and Founder Shoukat Dhanani to inquire about the upcoming location and other plans for Burger Kings in the central Texas area, but Mr. Dhanani was not immediately available for comment.

In any case, readers can reasonably trust a few details listed on the public filing. One, that construction will soon begin from scratch, considering the filing states construction will concern “new free standing fast food restaurant” to begin the first week of May, with an estimated completion of May 2024. Two, the project will cost around $750,000 and cover around 2,900 of total square footage.
