Taco Bell, the internationally ubiquitous Tex-Mex fast-casual restaurant, will soon be remodeling its San Marcos outpost, according to recent public records. The restaurant is located at 101 University Dr, in the downtown district.
Construction notes outline a “remodel and update a existing Taco Bell” that will span 2505 SF and cost around $350,000. Completion is estimated for March 2025.
The location will be run by Desert de Oro Foods, Inc., a multi-state franchisee that also runs prominent brands such as Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut restaurants across Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, California, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming.
No opening date has been announced.
