“I love the brand. I started as an hourly employee in Austin, working with the directors there for seven years, and eventually, I branched off and become my own boss. I love what I do on a daily basis.”

What Now Austin recently spoke to franchisee Josh Kuebler about this notable development in the north-of-Austin suburbs.

“We’re actually still a long ways out from opening,” Mr. Kuebler says.“The opening date is kind of a crapshoot, to be honest. Either sometime in the fall or even the new year, because of the unknowns regarding construction and the availability of things such as HVACs.”

The location will be Kuebler’s second, after having opened his first in Round Rock. When asked why he chose Hutto as the home for his second outpost, Kuebler provides a simple response.

“I live in Hutto and when I bought the rights to my first store in Round Rock there was the opportunity to get a new location nearby. This location has the potential to integrate us into the community while providing a great opportunity for our growth.”

Kuebler’s relationship with Jersey Mike’s stretches back several years and he is proud to be spearheading operations he once was on the ground floor of.

“I love the brand. I started as an hourly employee in Austin, working with the directors there for seven years, and eventually, I branched off and become my own boss. I love what I do on a daily basis.”
