The national Detroit-style pizza brand, Jets Pizza, will soon be opening another Austin location, according to a recent filing with the State of Texas. The restaurant will be located at 827 W 12th St., within Suite 103.
Founded in 1978 by Eugene Jetts in Sterling Heights, Michigan, Jets Pizza has since grown to hundreds of locations across twenty states in the US. Defining themselves on their website, the company states “Jet’s offers more than famous Detroit-style pizzas, like hand-tossed round, thin-crust, and NY Style pizzas, fresh salads, breads, and desserts. One thing that will never change is their commitment to quality ingredients.”
What Now Austin reached out to franchisee David Falato to inquire about potential opening dates, details about the space, and other key details about the brand’s upcoming location, but he was not immediately available for comment.
Until the 12th St location opens its doors, curious foodies may visit the three other existing Jets Pizza location in Austin on Congress Ave, Lamar Blvd, and Brodie Ln.
