Black Rock Coffee Bar, founded in Oregon and known for its premium roasted coffees, teas, smoothies and Fuel Energy drinks, is expanding its footprint in Texas with the opening of a new store in the Austin metro area of Cedar Park, Texas.
Opening its doors on Friday, August 11, 2023, this new addition brings the total number of Black Rock stores to 25 in the Lonestar state, with four locations and growing within the vibrant Austin area.
Located at 1909 East Whitestone Boulevard in Cedar Park, the new Black Rock store celebrated its grand opening by offering all customers free 16oz drinks all day at this location as well as other specials throughout the following week.

We are very drawn to the people, values and energy of the Austin community and are thrilled to be opening another location to serve them,” said Jeff Hernandez, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Black Rock Coffee Bar in a statement. “Cedar Park is a perfect area for us to open a new Black Rock Coffee Bar. It’s an up-and-coming active community, and our baristas can’t wait to connect with our customers on Friday.”
The new 2000-square-foot Black Rock Coffee Bar store incorporates Black Rock’s signature industrial modern design and features a large Texas-themed mural that is designed to connect to the region.
