In a previous interview, franchisee Greg Cole told What Now Austin that the opportunity to franchise with the brand “came to me through my other equity partner. We were able to acquire the five existing locations, at the time, in 2021.” This acquisition has made Cole’s group, Frostin City Limits, the sole Nothing Bundt Cakes franchisee in the Austin metropolitan area.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Nothing Bundt Cakes can expect “a modern spin on a classic treat,” serving up cake flavors such as blueberry bliss, white chocolate raspberry, and strawberries & cream. The business was founded in 1997 in Las Vegas and has since debuted over 500 bakery locations in more than 40 states and Canada.

According to the construction project notes, the $200,000 project is set to wrap up in June 2024.

No opening date has been set.
