The records state that the “First Generation Finish Out of a Grocery Store and Restaurant in an existing new construction shell building” will span nearly 10,000 square feet and cost around $650,000 to build.

“We are looking at enhancements in the restaurant side—dedicated seating, family dining area, flatbreads and ice cream; a nicer dining experience compared to the original,” owner Naveen Mukka tells What Now Austin

The grocery will continue focusing the Indian spices, some American items, and a meat serving poultry, goat, and fish.

“It’s a highly developing area,” Mr. Mukka says about Cedar Park. “We’ve been looking to expand for a while now and identified Cedar Park as an excellent place for an Indian grocery.”

Mr. Mukka adds that a common issue expressed in customer feedback was the long commute to the Leander location. The Cedar Park spot, he hopes, will more adequately serve customers coming from neighboring Liberty Hill

“DB World Foods and DB Kitchen is your new destination for all Indian groceries and fresh cooked food,” the official Facebook states.
