The restaurant will be the second La Riv location, and Chudasma’s 5th establishment—3 West Alehouse and Grill, Bombay Central Food Wine & Cocktail and Sona Wine Bar and the original La Riv are all operated by Chudasma and located in nearby Temple.

When asked why she chose to open in Georgetown, Chudasma says “Georgetown has the best of both worlds—all the amenities a city can provide, but still with the charm of a small town. You could not pick a better place in the entire United States than Georgetown.”

“The menu is very modern Italian,” Chudasma explains. “It’s an open-concept kitchen & restaurant—you’ll be able to dine in the kitchen and see the paste being made in-house, you’ll be able to see our wood-fired grill. Bringing that old Italian freshness is our goal.”

When asked about potential opening dates, Chudasma says “It’s a brand new location and will require a build-out, so we hope to open by July 2023.”

Until the Georgetown location opens its doors, Texas foodies can find the original La Riv at 7410 W Adams Ave in Temple, TX.
