Subway to Open Georgetown Location

The restaurant will be managed by Destiny Foods, a restaurant group based in Round Rock.

The international sandwich giant Subway will be opening its newest Austin-area restaurant in Georgetown at 900 N. Austin Ave, within suite 601, according to a recent filing with the State of Texas. The restaurant will be just off I-35, near other prominent US fast casual restaurants such as Starbucks, Pizza Hut, and Shanghai Express.

The upcoming location is significant for its location in Georgetown, a college town and growing Austin-area suburb. The store will take up 1,284 square feet and cost around $52,000 to complete, as listed on the State of Texas filing. 

The restaurant will be managed by Destiny Foods, a restaurant group based in Round Rock. 

What Now Austin reached out to Kim Boulet, Owner of Destiny Foods, to inquire further detail about the upcoming Georgetown store, but she was not immediately available for comment. 

Known for its made-to-order sandwiches in 6-inch or foot-long sizes, Subway is the most ubiquitous restaurant chain in the world, with over 36,000 locations as of 2021.
