The popular Texas-based Tex-Mex fusion chain Torchy’s Tacos will soon be opening a location in Georgetown. The restaurant will be located at 19392 Ronald W. Reagan Boulevard, within Suite 530, in what seems to be brand new commercial space in a growing area.

Defining their “mantra” on the official website, Torchy’s states “In living by our Damn Good mantra, we’re constantly innovating to ensure we’re delivering the tastiest tacos, queso, and margaritas in the game. Our Taco of the Month promotions allow us to provide unique tacos to all our Taco Junkies year ’round. We also pride ourselves by hiring Damn Good people who develop one-of-a-kind partnerships in each community we serve.”

Torchy’s Tacos menu is a unique entry in the broader Tex-Mex cuisine, featuring wildly inventive tacos with fillings such as fried chicken, fried avocados, Beyond Beef, and Jamaican jerk chicken. The chain also provides a full offerings of beer and liquor, along with juices, sangria, and margarita.

What Now Austin reached out to Peter Busse, Director of Development, to inquire about the restaurant’s potential opening dates, but he was not immediately available for comment. What can be known, however, according to the filing is that construction is slated to begin in March and end by the end of August 2023.
