Growing Texas cuisine concept Haywire will be expanding to a Domain Northside location at 11501 Rock Rose Ave, according to recent reporting in Community Impact. The restaurant is run by acclaimed hospitality group FB Society which also runs brands such as Sixty Vines and The Ranch.
CEO Jack Gibbons tells What Now Austin that the group chose The Domain for a few key reasons: FB Society was one of the first to open an eatery on Rock Rose Ave in The Domain, Mr. Gibbons himself is an Austin local, and the company in general expresses enthusiasm for the area.
“We live at the intersection of simple and sophisticated,” the official website states. “Where hearty meets refined. Where low-key meets high note. We are part of the Texas story, you are a part of ours, and we invite you to take the journey through the Haywire experience.”
Readers unfamiliar with the menu can expect an intriguing, upscale overview of Texas cuisine — the elk tacos, gulf coast ceviche, mesquite-grilled caesar salad, and TX Whiskey BBQ ribs highlight the culinary diversity of the state.
While no opening date has been set, the location is expected to open in 2024.
