It is a notable development considering Mr. Shallcross’s leadership at the helm of 2 Dine 4 Fine Catering, a successful high-end catering company in Central Texas, and his nearby Louisiana-inspired restaurant, Sawyer & Co.

What Now Austin reached out to Mr. Shallcross to ask him detailed questions about his newest culinary project and its relevant information, but he was unfortunately unavailable for comment.

If, however, Lil Easy’s menu reflects the offerings at Sawyer & Co., readers and partners can expect an attentively curated menu of cajun food selections such as boudin balls, shrimp remoulade, and andouille sausage.

Until the new restaurant opens, curious foodies can visit Mr. Shallcross’s Sawyer & Co. at the nearby 4827 East Cesar Chavez.
