The growing Austin-based chain The Peached Tortilla will open a Cedar Park location in late 2023, according to recent reports. The restaurant will be located at 1915 East Whitestone Boulevard, within the Arrow Point development
“I think the location will be a little different,” founder and owner Eric Silverstein tells What Now Austin. “We’ll have a much bigger patio and bar at this location. We’ll have a more efficient dining experience here given the 8 years of experience we have at this point. We want to provide customers with a familiar experience, but at the same time, give them something a little different.”
When asked for his rationale behind opening in Cedar Park, Silverstein points to many factors.
“The developer on the property is one of our partners in the business — I came across the plans and they looked interesting. I know some restaurants that have had success in Cedar Park.”
Readers should note that the new Cedar Park will experiment with the existing menu, bringing changes unfamiliar to loyal customers.
“We’ll have changes to the menu,” Silverstein says. “I’d say 70% of it will stay, and 30% of it will change. We’ll have new dishes for Cedar Park, for sure.”
After the Cedar Park location opens, readers can also expect Silverstein and company to look for a future expansion.
“We do have plans for future expansions, yes. We’d like to go South or East Austin next.”
