“Zeds Real Fruit Ice Cream, in Austin, offers several flavors and toppings, and sundaes like berry Butterfinger: strawberry real fruit ice cream festooned with chocolate sauce and Butterfinger candies,” the NYT’s reporting states. “Mack Brown, an owner, said sales have been so brisk that he is seeking a location for a second Austin shop.”

“I thought it was a wonderful brand,” Brown tells What Now Austin. “It was an amazing product, something I had never tried before. I just thought it was a really great opportunity and ultimately something that would be scalable around Austin.”

So, where can readers expect the new Zed’s to pop up?

“We’re looking all over Austin and not set on a specific location,” Brown says. “We’re going to be pretty patient in search to make sure we get the right fit for the brand.”

Until the newest location opens its doors, eager readers can find the original outpost at 1814 Harvey St.
