According to the filing, the 3,271 square foot restaurant will undergo changes regarding “the remodel of an existing restaurant space with new interior finishes and kitchen equipment. Other related work includes refinishing the existing open-to-the-outfoor bar and the indoor/outdoor seated dining areas.”

Z’Tejas primarily offers a range of classic Tex-Mex, Mexican, American staples—enchiladas, cochinita pibil, hamburgers, and loaded nachos, for example, are all menu items that one can find at Z’Tejas. It is also notable that the restaurant offers a full bar.

The Avery Ranch location is one of the four Z’Tejas locations in the United States, with its other Texas location on 6th Street in Austin, and two locations in Arizona.

What Now Austin reached out to Robby Nethercut, COO, to inquire about the timeline for these renovations and their intended effect on customer experience, but he was not immediately available for comment.
